Teya helped my husband and I find a great home in a very competitive housing market. I closed on my first home-purchase three days ago with Teya. My family has never had positive experiences in real-estate and so my bias going into the experience was that I wouldn't be able to fully trust anyone. While it took a few months, Teya eventually earned my complete trust. Her expertise as a real-estate broker (and home owner), overall integrity, and willingness to defer to me for direction exceeded my highest expectations. Teya is not only easy to work with and a very skilled/knowledgeable broker who understands the constraints and issues relevant to owners, builders, and renters in Jefferson County, she is also very savvy with regards to home maintenance/repair and has great local connections. She even has experience in energy efficiency (with an eye towards sustainable solutions) and is super knowledgeable about local plants and horticulture. She recommended a great local lender who also exceeded my expectations. The process overall took about 10 months and I simply couldn't have done it without Teya. I think I would have given up after the second attempt. There were multiple occasions where Teya could have advised me against certain purchases for her own financial gain and never once did I detect that motivation in her. I will definitely be working with her for any future real-estate purchases and now consider her a good friend and a truthworthy partner.

I cannot imagine a smoother and more stress-free experience than we had with Teya. From our first contact, she was a cheerful and positive force, keeping us on track, staying in touch with every development, and responding promptly to our questions. We purchased this home while still living out-of-state, and she made it easy. She provided us with names of local contacts for some work we wanted done, and made herself available to oversee the work before we even moved in. We love our house and hope never to have to move again, but if we did, we'd want to take Teya with us.

We worked with Teya from Idaho, traveling to Port Townsend when there was a house worth looking at. To make this work, she had to do video walk-throughs with her phone, which she was always happy to do. When we found the right house, it was a “for ale by owner” situation, meaning that Teya had to do all the work of two agents. She was happy to do this.She also spent significant time trying to find us a rental as our new home needed extensive refurbishing.We loved working with Teya and will certainly work with her again if we have other real estate needs in the Port Townsend area.
